Thavisouk Hotel has a good location in town, set behind slightly back from the beautiful Nam Song River and behind its sister resort; Thavisouk Resort which has a riverfront location. This location still gives direct access to the river which is perfect for those who enjoy the famous Vang Vieng activity of tubing down the river. Guests can stop at this point of the river and exit with direct access to their rooms.
This location is also on one of the main streets in town which heads directly from Thavisouk Hotel to the central hub of Vang Vieng including the tubing office, shops, restaurants and bars which are a five minute walk away.
Thavisouk Hotel is also within walking distance of the Vang Vieng Bus station and often the VIP buses arrive and depart from the hotel itself. Getting Here: From the bus station on the far side of the air strip, it is approximately 10 minutes walking time to Thavisouk Hotel. Walk across the old air strip heading towards the river. On arrival in town, cross the main street and continue down one of the smaller streets running adjacent to the river so you are heading closer to the river itself. When you arrive at the next T-intersection which is a street running parallel to the Nam Song River you are more than likely north of the hotel and therefore need to turn left and continue up this road in a southerly direction. You can not miss Thavisouk Hotel which is situated on the right hand side of the road as you head away from town.
