Organized by the Development Committee of the Old Souk in partnership with the Municipality of Zouk Mikaël, this festival is a celebration of Bavarian beer, but also customs, cultures and arts of space with which Lebanon Germanic significant relationships. It is under the patronage and attendance of His Excellency the Ambassador of Germany that the union of Germans living in Lebanon can be found for a series of evenings with the Lebanese population, represented mainly by the Municipality of Zouk Mikaël chaired by its Mr. Mayor Nouhad Naufal. On the agenda: a varied menu, a pinch of culture and drunkenness, laughter and joy of being together.

Awarded by UNESCO the prize of Peace of the Arab cities in 1999/2000, Zouk Mikael is one of the most beautiful towns in Lebanon. Its old souk, museum and stone houses make it a typical old town of Lebanon. Zouk Mikael has well maintained clean roads, in addition to several parks and playgrounds for children, all developed by the municipality. In the vicinity of the old Souk, you can explore the luxurious of Kaslik, offering boutiques for clothing and jewlery. The beach is accessible through several resorts along the coast.
